Comic Seer

Comic Seer does just what the names says: it allows you to see comics. It is a free and open-source application that provides support for lots of formats: CBZ, CBR, RAR, ZIP, JPG, and PNG. If you have a comic in CBZ format, you can load it into Comic Seer and have an enjoyable reading experience.

Comic Seer is available for Windows and Linux. Focusing on Microsoft’s operating system, it must be mentioned that Comic Seer is available for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions. It must also be mentioned that installing Comic Seer on a Windows-powered machine is a simple process that will take little of your time – and a minimal amount of effort as a matter of fact.

Comic Seer’s interface can be customized: you can remove the Libraries panel, you can pick if you want to use tabs, you can collapse the toolbar at the top, you can switch to full screen mode. Not only is the interface customizable, it is also very easy to use. You will not have to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to Comic Seer’s interface.

From this user friendly interface you will be able to access the following functionality: open CBZ, CBR, RAR, ZIP, JPG, and PNG files; create and manage libraries; navigate using hotkeys or using the back and forward buttons; display 1 page or 2 pages; fit width, fit height, fit all, go full screen.
